Do you reckon the hurdle is the style of songs (old & irrelevant or modern & cheesy), the subject of the singing (i.e. God), the location/environment, or something else?

I think it is most likely the embarrassment of singing songs they don’t know in front of people they don’t know. Men will sing at a footie match or in the shower – or even sing karaoke with a few bevvies down them – in each case, it will be singing songs they know with people they feel comfortable with.Are some songs more appropriate to reach men than others? What do you think, Steve?
